Start of New Water Season

It’s time to get ready for the new water season. This year with the weather conditions, it will be May 3rd before the water can be delivered to canals and pipelines other than the Towaoc Highline Canal system. Water will be available in the Towaoc Highline system for delivery beginning April 12th. Please make sure your ditches and headgates are cleaned and ready for water. If you share a ditch or headgate with others, you might want to make cleaning the ditch a social event.

All shareholders will be required to call the office and request to have their water turned on. Please make sure others on your headgate are ready for water first. If you take water without calling the office, you are taking someone else’s water.

Please contact the office if your address or phone number has changed. There are occasions when we need to contact shareholders quickly.

Stock Certificates

If you are planning to make changes to your stock certificate, such as selling shares, changing the names of shareholders, or making changes to a mortgagee, there are a few things you need to know. An original certificate must be presented or a lost instrument bond obtained. This makes it very important to keep your original certificate in a safe place. All assessments and fees must be paid along with a transfer fee for each certificate to be issued. If a bank is listed on the certificate as a mortgagee, a release of mortgage will need to be signed. All parties on a certificate must sign to make changes or proper documentation will be required.

Please pay your bill on time.  This  year late fees and interest will be  implemented immediately after the due date.  If you need to make arrangements, please do so with Jim Siscoe, General manager.
